Introduction to Showreel Project

'This project is designed to enable you to finalise, present and reflect on all project work produced during Year One. As an introduction to the post-production process you will create an edited showreel, 75 – 90 seconds in duration, set to a sound track of your choice. This process will enable you to present your work in a professional manner while demonstrating knowledge of the showreel form. The final output will be presented as a showcase of your developing specialist skills in animation.'

SHOW REEL
The selected projects for your showreel must include your strongest work and reflect your future interests in animation study. Research and development work, such as life drawing and concept art, may also feature in your showreel.

SOUNDTRACK
Choose a suitable soundtrack. Consider any issues that may be associated with clearances of using copyrighted sound or images. Additional spot sound effects may also be used where appropriate.
